Advertising products and services online can be more effective than through offline channels.

Online and digital marketing is a more powerful and effective method of advertising a business' products and services than through offline channels, an expert suggests.
Kabir Bedi, senior web consultant at Lexolution IT Services, tells Promotion World that the growing number of web-savvy individuals is increasing its effectiveness.
He says that two of the key ways businesses roll out digital marketing are through email and social media services.
Mr Bedi asserts that among the forms of email marketing companies use are newsletters sent out containing information on the latest events, new offers and details about the company.
He states: "If you know that your audience base is not very tech-savvy … it would be pointless to market your services there. Instead, concentrate on building a relevant email list and send them newsletters and brochures of your business."
Diane Forster, writing for Promotion World, recently claimed that email marketing is a key strategy for those looking to raise their firm's profile over the Christmas period.
